Nurturing Our Community has partnered in cooperation with the Visual-Nonvisual Network in Malta. VNVO is a non-profit organisation made up of a group of various NGOs with the same objectives, these all provide information and referrals about living with visual impairment, and all work to help blind people become independent.
We are dedicated to coordinating activities between British Blind organisations and VNVO Malta. We organise tours for British visual impaired to experience the facilities and activities available at VNVO Malta.
Enjoy the Mediterranean breeze and historical cities through the exciting tandem bicycle tours, which NOCNOC was the coordinator of acquiring and delivering the tandem bikes to Malta, together with the support of the Maltese High Commission and Air Malta.
Experience growing and harvesting traditional Maltese crops. Join the visually Maltese impaired farmer team growing and producing stevia plant-based products which in the very near future will also be available to our NOC members.
We organise a yearly fair where the Maltese VNVO members tour the UK, meeting UK Blind organisations, and sharing their experience, horticultural produce, and artisan products such as paintings, sculptures and pottery.
